The Hawkwood Estate

Hawkwood is a stunning Grade II listed 19th-century country house set in 42 acres of sustainably managed woodland, farmland, and gardens in the heart of the Cotswolds. With breathtaking views towards the River Severn and Wales, it is a sanctuary from the demands of daily life.

We have hosted groups including The National Trust, The Soil Association, NHS, and Trinity Music Exams. Guests consistently praise our delicious catering, friendly staff, and ethical management, making Hawkwood a truly unique and special venue for courses, meetings, and events.

Our rates vary and are flexible based on your needs, with our starting rates summarized below:

Day Delegate (9am-5pm): Starting at £60 per day + VAT

Residential Overnight: Starting at £150 per day + VAT

Your Stay at Hawkwood

Hawkwood can accommodate up to 48 guests in our charming Grade II listed house.

Our warm, comfortable rooms offer sweeping views across the Stroud Valley or our serene gardens. Bedrooms are equipped with hand basins, and our private "non-suite" bathrooms—each with a toilet, sink, and shower—are conveniently located outside the rooms along the corridors on each floor.

We offer packages to suit any group from 6 to 100 people, tailored to meet your needs. The 42-acre estate includes sustainably managed woodland, farmland, and gardens, providing a beautiful setting to relax, explore, and learn.

Conferences & Trainings

Hawkwood offers an inspiring venue for meetings, retreats, and conferences for up to 100 delegates. With seven function rooms, 28 bedrooms, and an outdoor classroom, we provide the perfect setting for your event.

Outdoor Classroom

We are delighted to offer the Outdoor Classroom as an educational facility for the local community—a space to grow, create, and explore!

Please note: The outdoor classroom is not available for hire after dusk or before dawn.

Half Day Hire: 09:00-12:30 or 12:30-16:00 - £90
Full Day Hire: 09:00-16:00 - £155
