Hawkwood’s Seed Festival

Celebrating Courageous Climate Leadership, Creative Expression, and Innovation in Partnership with Nature

Hawkwood’s Seed Festival celebrates bold leadership, creative expression, and innovation in partnership with our natural world. As we face growing environmental and political challenges, this festival is a crucial opportunity to unite and act with our future and the planet in mind.

The 2019 Seed Festival, themed around action, featured an impressive lineup of speakers including Mary Portas, Mike Berners-Lee, Gillian Burke, Jonathan Porritt, and many more influential figures. With over 100 contributors offering workshops, activities, and exhibitions, the festival provided fertile ground for exploring connections to the earth and environmental challenges through music, poetry, debate, and community engagement.

Celebrating and protecting our environment is central to Hawkwood’s ethos. Our grounds, including a biodynamic farm, woodland, natural spring, and gardens, provide the perfect setting for planting big ideas. We are proud to have organised and hosted this event in partnership with Seed Idea, serving as a catalyst for action, activism, and creativity.

Stay tuned for updates on our next Seed Festival!
